ACCESS Community Capital Fund is a registered Canadian charity based in Toronto. ACCESS helps people in financial need in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area who want to achieve their dreams of starting small businesses or relaunching successful careers in Canada.
Applicant eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, PR, or protected persons/convention refugees
- 18 years or older
- In financial need (i.e. those who cannot get a loan from banks due to no or lack of good credit history, low-income or no assets etc)
- Up-to-date with their taxes Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
- Not in active consumer proposal or bankruptcy
Foreign Credential Recognition Loan Program (FCR):
This is a loan program for internationally educated professionals (newcomers) who want to relaunch their careers in Canada. Small Business Loan Program:
The Small Business Loan Program is for anyone who has a business idea but does not have access to funds through banks and other lenders to start or grow their business. We facilitate microloans up to $5,000 for first-time applicants and up to $10,000 for second-time applicants who have paid the first loan in good standing. Womens Business Accelerator Program (WBA):
This is a workshop series for newcomer women interested in starting a business in Canada. The topics covered include business planning, marketing, financial forecasting, and financial management among others. More info: https://accessccf.com/womens-business-accelerator/
