Over a decade ago, I started MuslimMoms.Ca because I believed something simple but powerful: when women gather with intention, something shifts.
I’ve watched it happen hundreds of times.
A woman walks in tired, carrying more than anyone sees. Maybe she’s never been in a room quite like this before. She doesn’t know what to expect.
And then something changes.
The energy lifts. Her shoulders drop. She laughs, really laughs. A problem that felt impossible starts to look solvable. Not because someone fixed it, but because she’s no longer alone with it.
I’ve seen it again and again. Women leaving different than when they arrived. Lighter. Hopeful. Ready.
But here’s what I’ve also noticed.
