I love how few simple  recipes can end up looking like true masterpieces & a true work of art ?
My 3 steps seared beef sirloin steaks are not only slow-cooked to perfection but are a crowd-pleaser.?

Ingredients:

  • 3-lb. bone-in  beef Sirloin
  • 6 russet potatoes, cut into large chunks or 12 baby potatoes
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 1 tbsp. thyme
  • 1 tbsp.  rosemary
  • 1tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce

Directions:

Step 1-Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl & marinate the steaks. Refrigerate for an hour.
Step 2- In a pan drizzle olive oil and sear the steak pieces to secure its flavor.
Step 3-In a roasting pot add onions & potatoes then the wet ingredients combine well and let the steak pieces gently rest on the veggie cover & let it slow cook in the over at 350°c for 90 mins.

Side Dish Ideas:

  •  mashed potatoes
  • stir-fried vegetables on the side.
