I love how few simple recipes can end up looking like true masterpieces & a true work of art
My 3 steps seared beef sirloin steaks are not only slow-cooked to perfection but are a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
- 3-lb. bone-in beef Sirloin
- 6 russet potatoes, cut into large chunks or 12 baby potatoes
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 1 tbsp. thyme
- 1 tbsp. rosemary
- 1tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tbsp finely chopped Garlic
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
Directions:
Step 1-Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl & marinate the steaks. Refrigerate for an hour.
Step 2- In a pan drizzle olive oil and sear the steak pieces to secure its flavor.
Step 3-In a roasting pot add onions & potatoes then the wet ingredients combine well and let the steak pieces gently rest on the veggie cover & let it slow cook in the over at 350°c for 90 mins.
Side Dish Ideas:
- mashed potatoes
- stir-fried vegetables on the side.
