Paramount Fine Foods is chain of restaurants that originated in Canada and offers fresh and healthy Middle-Eastern cuisine. Over the last decade, they have made a huge name for themselves in traditional and authentic Lebanese food.

They have launched special iftar platters for Ramadan for days when you are too busy, rushed or drained out to cook or you just want a tasty treat for yourself and your family. You can view the full iftar platter menu here:

We tried the Mixed combo platter from the Paramount location in Milton. The order was ready on time and was hot and fresh!

The mixed combo platter includes: fattoush salad (240 Cals), hummus (710 Cals), chicken and beef shawarma, two kafta skewers,
two shish tawouk skewers, t wo BBQ beef skewers and four falafel pieces. A side of rice (160 Cals) and a side of fries (460 Cals).
Served with tahini and garlic dipping sauce

We ordered the half platter size and it was enough to feed the four members of our family.

Appetizers

This platter comes with delicious and crispy Fattoush salad. This is one of my favorite salads because of its taste, freshness and health benefits.

We were also given three complimentary servings of lentil soups. Lentil soups are perfect for iftar as they are packed with nutrients and filling as well.

Both the appetizers were fresh and we enjoyed them at the start of our iftar.

Mains

The star of the platter is the several meat varieties included in the selection. We enjoyed the beef and chicken shawarma, along with kafta and shish taouk skewers. The barbecued beef skewer was a treat for the kids who love steak. The fresh and crispy falafels were a bonus !

Add ons like fresh khubs from their oven, rice, fries and hummus made the platter an even better treat!

Dessert

No meal is complete without a tasty dessert to tickle your taste buds. We opted for a baklawa platter to complement the iftar platter. It was fresh and tasty like the rest of the meal.
