This pasta salad is so flavorful and delicious that  your family would love to have it as an appetizer again and again.


  • Chicken breast 1
  • Mustard paste 1tbsp
  • Paprika 1/2 tsp
  • Tabasco sauce 1 tbsp
  • Garlic powder 1/4th tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Salad:

  • Cucumber cubes 1 cup
  • Capsicum 1 cut in strips
  • Cherry tomato 12 to 15 cut in half
  • Carrots 1/2 cup strips
  • Cabbage 1 cup shredded
  • Pasta boiled 1 cup

For dressing:

  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
  • Sour cream 1 tbsp
  • Mixed dried herbs 1/4th tsp
  • Tobasco sauce 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Marinate the chicken breast with salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and garlic powder and leave for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Place the chicken breast in the hot grill pan and cook for three minutes on each side or until well cooked.
  3. Remove from the pan, let it cool for 5 minutes, then cut in strips and set aside.
  4.  For dressing, mix in mayonnaise with Tabasco sauce, lemon juice, oregano or Italian seasoning, salt and pepper (if needed) and mix until light and fluffy.
  5.  Take a large bowl place all the vegetables listed for salad, pasta, chicken and the dressing. Mix everything well until coated, top it with some chicken strips, chill and serve.
