The Muslim Moms team recently met up at Masrawy Egyptian Kitchen to talk about some exciting upcoming developments and events we are planning for you! Also, we love to support our local businesses and really needed a girls day out with good food and good company! It was a win-win situation (happy face emoji) Stay tuned for updates on our next get together to join us to chat about the weather and how you can get involved with the Muslim Moms and help give back to the community.

If you haven’t been to Masrawy yet you are seriously missing out and we highly recommend you put a lunch or dinner date at Masrawy on your calendar! What started in 2014 as just catering has grown into an incredible experience created by the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere and the mouth-watering, fresh authentic Egyptian taste!

I personally love the Hawaoshi, perfectly made traditional bread filled with ground beef seasoned with a blend of spices and just pure culinary magic paired with Hibiscus tea. But honestly everything I try there becomes my new favourite and the variety is just amazing!

The staff are courteous, quick and super friendly and the owner, Mohamed Saleh, goes out of his way to make sure he talks to each and every guest there. If you haven’t had Egyptian food ever before no worries because he will take the time to explain the menu, make suggestions and fill you in on a little of the magic involved in the creation of these gastronomical masterpieces (yes everything is art to me!)

Go visit and tell us which dish you liked best!
